CCA Is Expanding

Despite the current financial situation closing business everywhere, Collecto, Inc., d/b/a CCA, a wholly owned subsidiary of EOS-Solutions, Hamburg, Germany, is expanding as it keeps up with the needs of its clients.

According to John F. Burns, Vice President of Corporate Services, CCA has signed a lease for an additional 10,000 square feet at the company's headquarters located at 700 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA. CCA signed the lease about a month ago, bringing the total size of CCA's headquarters to more than 40,000 square feet and allowing this accounts receivable firm to increase their staff and capabilities significantly.

Mr. Burns stated that many companies with overdue customer balances are reducing the time that they hold those receivables before turning them over to an outside collection agency. This is one of the factors in the recent growth of the company's business. He expects the furniture to arrive for the newly renovated space during the 2nd week of July, the staff will move into the area the following week.

With regional offices in Denver, Chicago, Dallas, Brockton MA and Rochester NY, CCA's most recent headcount includes 680 employees nationwide with 250 full time employees in Norwell. About two months ago, the company began a growth spurt that brings about 50 new jobs to the expanded space over a six month period.

Late in 2004, CCA was awarded a piece of a major U.S. Department of Education contract. To accommodate that project, 7,800 square feet was added to their Norwell lease at that time. CCA has recently been awarded the renewal of that contact and will utilize this additional space to accommodate the requirements of the new contract.

Founded in 1991, CCA provides Accounts Receivable Management Services, including a Debt Purchasing Division, across all markets and services over 2000 clients across all major industries.
